The Rain Atelier is located in a classic New England post-and-beam structure.  The building, one of the area's oldest, features a striking vaulted ceiling, hand hewn beams and a wonderful fireplace.

We welcome you to visit the Rain Atelier year round.  We are located at the intersection of Wheaton Road and Route 202 in New Preston, Connecticut.  We are nestled among some of Litchfield County’s best shopping, dining, hiking and lodging and minutes away from the bucolic town center of Washington Depot.  Nearby towns include Litchfield, Kent, Bantam, and Woodbury and we are less than 5 minutes from beautiful Lake Waramaug.  We are an easy two hour drive North of New York City.  Please call if you require any further information about how to find us or activities to incorporate into your visit.
